GE Landscape Supply's 5 Fall Favorites

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, the time for holiday decorating is NOW! If you need some holiday or outdoor living inspiration, look no further. We have five fall favorites that are sure to take your decorations or holiday enjoyment up a notch.

1. Porch Decor that Survives Frigid Days

Find the perfect fall planter and fill it up with dried foliage to create seasonal interest with minimal effort. Dried foliage, seedpods, and grasses create the perfect autumn display.

2. Cozy Up by a Fire Pit

Get outside and enjoy the fall weather by investing in an outdoor fire pit. There are many seating options such as camp chairs, wood planks and stumps, or create a bench using building stones. When complete, just add family, friends and hot cider.

3. Bake a Fresh Fall Dish

We love seasonal dishes and nothing says fall like Apple Crisp with an Oatmeal Pecan Crumble Topping. Follow this simple recipe and let the kids lend a helping hand!

4. Lighting and Porch Decor

When the dreaded daylight savings time hits and most of the evening is spent in the dark, a well-lit porch can make a big difference in boosting your mood and showcasing your seasonal touches well into the night. Choose bold lighting fixtures, colors that “pop” and decorations that match your home’s aesthetic.

5. Creating a Fall Centerpiece

Gather up gourds, decorative corn husks, pinecones, and others into a container of your choosing. Your guests will love it and you can move it around to other locations in your home. The fall theme can also be swapped out for winter foliage for Christmas.
